Today I am feeling...

Fear grin
- Monkeys bare their teeth when they feel threatened (e.g. when you go too near it)
- Step back from the monkey immediately when you see this.
- This is often mistaken for smiling.

Lip-smacking
- They smack their lips together when they are happy (:
- They make a "tu-tu" sounds to display affection for the other party.

Angry
When monkeys are aggressive, they raise their eyebrows and shape their mouths like an 'O', and hunches it shoulders forward towards you.
- It is a sign for intruders to back off, before they attack.

Sleepy
- Like me and you, monkeys yawn when they are sleepy.
- This is often mistaken for aggression as the monkeys look intimidating while yawning.
